Audiobooks for Multitasking • Audiobooks have changed my reading habits in a big way. Because of audiobooks, I have access to more books in an enjoyable and entertaining format. Listening to books allows me the pleasure of multitasking. I can devour a wide variety of novels while knitting, cooking, gardening, or driving. The landscape of what is popular to readers is ever-changing, and it’s nearly impossible to keep current. I read as much as I can, but there are time limitations. Another reason I love audiobooks is that I find I enjoy the books more. As a writer, I began my career dissecting books. I trained myself to read and pull elements out of novels. When I listen, I enjoy the performance.
